What is an IB Internal Assessment (IA)?
The IA is a coursework component of the IB Diploma. Each subject has its own format — Math students complete a mathematical exploration, Sciences run an experiment-based investigation. The IA is marked by your teacher, moderated externally, and typically counts for 20–25% of your final subject grade.
